If there's one big gift on your list this year, this is the week to buy it. The splurge-worthy gifts almost never go on sale, and right now four of the most-wanted ones are marked down by about $90 to $200 before Black Friday even starts. These are the gifts that make someone gasp on Christmas morning, and every one of them has a 4.4 to 4.7 star rating from hundreds or thousands of buyers. They're ON SALE NOW, and the popular ones won't stay in stock at this price.
Quick picks: the Apple Watch Ultra 3 for him, the Sonos Era 300 pair for the music lover, the CHITA swivel chairs for the one making a home, and the Breville Barista Express for the coffee lover.
The watch: Apple Watch Ultra 3
The most impressive gift you can wrap in a small box. Black titanium with a black titanium Milanese loop, so it looks just as good with a suit as on a run.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 (Black Titanium)
Black titanium and a Milanese loop: rugged on a run, sleek with a suit. A showstopper in a small box.

Reviewers rave about the battery life (one says it goes about two days between charges), love the health and fitness features, and say it was easy to set up and connect to their iPhone. The bright display gets special praise for being easy to read mid-workout. More than 200 were bought last month, it's sold and shipped by Amazon, and it's about $200 off the $899 list price. Good to know: this is the big 49mm case, and a few reviewers find it large on a slim wrist; it also needs an iPhone to set up.
The sound: Sonos Era 300 pair
The gift for the one who always has music on. Two white Sonos Era 300 speakers with Dolby Atmos: set them side by side for room-filling stereo, put one in each room, or use them as rear speakers with a Sonos soundbar.
Sonos Era 300 Speakers, White (Pair)
Two Dolby Atmos speakers for room-filling stereo. Reviewers call the sound sublime, with amazing clarity.

This pair is an Amazon's Choice, sold and shipped by Amazon, and about $90 off the $998 list price. Good to know: some reviewers report Wi-Fi connection hiccups and don't love the Sonos app, so set them up on a strong home network.
The chairs: CHITA swivel accent chairs
The gift that changes how a room feels. A set of two ivory swivel barrel chairs on solid walnut-finish wood bases, the kind of corner that makes morning coffee feel like a hotel lobby.
CHITA Swivel Accent Chairs, Ivory (Set of 2)
Two ivory swivel chairs on walnut bases that arrive fully assembled. Reviewers say they look expensive.
Check it on AmazonWhat buyers say: 4.7 stars from over 960 ratings. Customers call the quality great, love the smooth swivel and the wood base that matches the fabric, and one says they look expensive. Reviewers say the fabric feels soft and the chairs are solidly built. Both arrive fully assembled, so they're ready the minute the box is open. They're sold by CHITA's own store on Amazon and about $95 off the $1,189.99 list price for the pair.
The coffee: Breville Barista Express
The gift that turns their kitchen into a cafe. Brushed stainless steel with a built-in grinder, so they go from beans to espresso in under a minute.
Breville Barista Express Espresso Machine
Beans to latte in a minute with the built-in grinder. Some reviewers say it paid for itself in two months.
Check it on AmazonWhat buyers say: this is the hottest seller on this list by far: nearly 28,000 ratings and more than 8,000 bought last month. Customers say it makes great shots and perfect lattes, love the look, and like that it tells them when it needs cleaning. Several say it's worth every penny, and some say it paid for itself in under two months of skipped coffee runs. It's sold and shipped by Amazon and $200 off its usual $699.95. Good to know: durability reviews are mixed (most love it for years, a few report problems after about a year and a half), so keep the receipt and register the warranty.

Why buy the big gift now
Big-ticket gifts are the first to sell out once Black Friday traffic hits, and the popular colors go first. Buying now locks in the sale price, gets it delivered while shipping is still fast (furniture especially takes longer in December), and gives you time to wrap it beautifully. If the price drops again, many Amazon items can be returned within the return window.

FAQ
What are the best luxury gifts on sale for Black Friday?
The ones people want all year and rarely see discounted: the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Sonos Era 300 speakers, a statement chair and the Breville Barista Express are all marked down right now.
Are Apple and Sonos products cheaper on Black Friday?
Both brands rarely discount on their own sites, but Amazon often does around Black Friday. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 and the Sonos Era 300 pair are already marked down and sold by Amazon itself.
Is a big splurge gift worth it?
When it's something they'll use every day for years, yes. A watch, a great pair of speakers, a favorite chair or an espresso machine gets used daily, so it feels special long after the wrapping is gone.
Make it the gift of the year
Pick the one that fits their life, grab it while it's on sale, and wrap it like the showstopper it is. The big gift is always the one they remember. Embrace your beauty. ✨
